“Tails & Tales” Design Contests
tails and tales text

Allegan District Library is calling on our patrons to create original designs to celebrate the 2021 Summer Learning Program: Tails & Tales (animal theme).  We are running two different contests: a coloring page design contest and a sticker/button design contest.

  1. These contests are available to patrons of all ages, and a winner will be selected from each of the following age groups: Kids (through 5th grade), Tweens & Teens (middle and high school), and Adults (18 years and older).
  2. Artists can enter either or both of these contests, but can only win one.
  3. Designs can include words related to the animal theme.
  4. Designs should be appropriate for all ages. Allegan District Library has the right to disqualify any designs deemed inappropriate or unsuitable for their intended purpose.
  5. Designs must be submitted electronically to mosickey@alleganlibrary.org. If access to a scanner is needed, please call (269)673-4625 to make an appointment to use our scanner. A high quality photo of the design is also acceptable.
  6. Please include the name, contact information, and age of the artist with the submission.
  7. Submissions should be received no later than Friday, March 26 at 5:00PM.
  8. Vote for your favorite designs throughout the month of April either in person or by completing an online survey. More details on how to vote will be released at that time.
  9. The winners will receive a gift card to a local business.
  10. Entry into the contest gives Allegan District Library permission to distribute your design as coloring pages, buttons or stickers, and share it on our social media outlets and website.
