For renewing books online :

You can begin by either going to or website http://www.alleganlibrary.org/
and clicking on the Alexandria Link or
directly access the catalog by clicking on the logo below


To login click the Log In link in the right column
              Your user name is your library card number and
              Your default password is your last name.
Once you are successfully logged in to the card catalog,
Just click on the Patron Details link on the left side of the screen
you will be able to view :
Materials you currently have out and when they are due
Materials you have placed on hold
When your library card expires and even
How much you owe in fines.

To place a hold on an item, 
Login to the catalog
Search for the material you would like to place on hold,
click the "place hold" link at the bottom of the material's page.
We will call you when the material become available
